Summary The first commandment--which instructs us to love God with all of our heart, mind, soul, and strength--will be restored to first place. The Church will love Jesus above every other love, will have a desire to worship God with passion, and will obey Him wholeheartedly. Not only that, the Church will become Christ-like, walking in love, humility, obedience, and power. In fact, Jesus said that the Church will do greater works than He did (John 14:12). This involves hearing God’s voice, healing the sick, and setting the oppressed free. Furthermore, the Church will not be spectators in end-time events, but participators. God is calling His Church to partner with Him in the end-times. This involves preparing the way for the return of the Lord by devoting ourselves to prayer--especially prayer for Israel (Isa. 62:6-7), for the Bride of Christ to be made ready (Rev. 19:7, 22:17), and for the end-time harvest (Matt. 24:14; Rev. 7:9-17). In light of this, the Church throughout the earth faces great challenges. In many respects, the Church is far from glorious. Rather than passion for Jesus, many believers are apathetic and complacent in their faith. Holiness and purity have been replaced with lawlessness and compromise. Thus, many transitions are needed for the end-time Church to take its rightful place in the earth. At Restoration Life, we are committed to equipping the Church to be passionate, pure, powerful, and to partner with God in the end-times. We are focused on preparing a worthy Bride for Jesus, equipping believers for the work of ministry, and awakening the Body of Christ to be made ready as “a people prepared for the Lord” (Luke 1:17) at His coming. To fulfill this mandate, we are building a Ministry Center. The Church at Antioch (Acts 11 and 13) is an excellent model of the type of Ministry Center that we are building. There was a Local Fellowship at Antioch, where a committed group of people gathered regularly for worship, prayer, teaching, and ministry (Acts 13:1). There was also a Training Center, where anointed teachers equipped believers in the Word of God (Acts 13:1). The Church at Antioch also had a Ministry Center, where solid, mature prophetic ministry took place (Acts 13:1-2). In addition, there was a Prayer Center at Antioch, where deep worship and fervent prayer took place on a regular basis (Acts 13:2-3). Finally, the Church at Antioch had a Missions Center, where anointed teaching, preaching, and ministry went forth into the nations (Acts 13:3-5). In summary, the Church at Antioch illustrates beautifully the type of Ministry Center that we are building at Restoration Life. The Ministry Center that we are building has five unique dimensions, which are a: 1. Local Fellowship 2. Prayer Center 3. Training Center 4. Ministry Center 5. Missions Center Who We Are
