We live in one of the most exciting generations in all of recorded history–a time in which God is moving powerfully throughout the earth. In these last days, God is preparing a glorious church who will be passionate for Jesus, pure in heart, powerful in ministry, and will partner with Him in the end times. At Restoration Life, we refer to this as the glorious, end-time church. Seeing the Body of Christ transition into a glorious church, as described in Ephesians 5:27, is what drives everything we do.

The first commandment–which instructs us to love God with all of our heart, mind, soul, and strength–will be restored to first place. The church will love Jesus above every other love, will have a desire to worship God with passion, and will obey Him wholeheartedly. Not only that, the church will become Christ-like, walking in love, humility, obedience, and power. In fact, Jesus said that the church will do greater works than He did (John 14:12). This involves hearing God’s voice, healing the sick, and setting the oppressed free. Furthermore, the church will not be spectators in end-time events, but participators. God is calling His church to partner with Him in the end times. This involves preparing the way for the return of the Lord by devoting ourselves to prayer–especially prayer for Israel (Isa. 62:6-7), for the bride of Christ to be made ready (Rev. 19:7, 22:17), and for the end-time harvest (Matt. 24:14; Rev. 7:9-17).

In light of this, the church throughout the earth faces great challenges. In many respects, the church is far from glorious. Rather than passion for Jesus, many believers are apathetic and complacent in their faith. Holiness and purity have been replaced with lawlessness and compromise. Thus, many transitions are needed for the end-time church to take its rightful place in the earth.

At Restoration Life, we believe that God has imparted a forerunner spirit upon us, empowering us in the spirit and power of Elijah to bring change and restoration into individual lives, the church, and even nations. In response to this mandate, we are committed to equipping the church to be passionate, pure, powerful, and to partner with God in the end times. We are focused on preparing a worthy Bride for Jesus, equipping believers for the work of ministry, and awakening the Body of Christ to be made ready as “a people prepared for the Lord” (Luke 1:17) at His coming.

To fulfill this mandate, we have modeled our church after the church at Antioch in the book of Acts (Acts 11 and 13). The church at Antioch was devoted to fervent prayer and deep worship (Acts 13:2-3), training and equipping believers in the Word of God (Acts 13:1), seasoned prophetic ministry (Acts 13:1-2), and missions, where anointed teachers and preachers were sent regularly into the nations (Acts 13:3-5).

Based upon the church at Antioch, we have defined four pillars at Restoration Life, which are:

  1. Fervent prayer and deep worship;
  2. Training and equipping believers in the Word of God;
  3. Healing, prophetic, and deliverance ministry that brings restoration to the body and soul;
  4. Missions, where we train and equip pastors and leaders in the nations through our distance-learning program.
